To replace your old motor you will need to remove the scuttle trims and the water cover over around the wiper arms that cover the motor.
Undo 2 screws holding the motor casing in place. Remove casing check your seal we also list the seals separately that stick in place.
Split the casing and unscrew the bracket holding in the resistor you will need to detach this and reuse it on the replacement motor. Install the motor in the case clean away any dust/debris from the case first. Make sure the motor rotates freely in the case by hand before reinstalling in the car. In some early Astras the cases are shaped smaller and you may need to shave the edge of the case away to ensure motor moves free before plugging in or it will jam and get damaged, majority of G, H, J regs will be fine.
